The Ticket Office

A ticket office holds your details for the length of the journey. This page says what ours holds, and why.

What is on file

  • Email, hashed password, first name, birthday, gender, plus any extras you add to your pass.
  • Journeys, with the notes a station writes about you.
  • Cookies on file: the session one, and a flag for passing the barrier.
  • Fare records show a sum and a reference. Cards never come near us.
  • Basic server logs, short-lived, for security.

What it is for

The details serve three ends: chat that works, rules that bite, a network that stays up. Our software, or one provider hired only for that job, handles messages, and scans watch them for safety. Journeys are not for sale, and advertisers get nothing.

Counting passengers

An analytics counter notes how many passengers arrived and by which route. Inside a journey, it sees nothing.

Your controls

In the chat's menu you can rewrite what a station noted about you, copy the journey, or wipe the ride. To close the account, mail the footer address using your sign-up email, and everything is deleted. Where your own law gives more, tell us and we comply.
